CruzTOOLS, Inc., P. O. Box 250 - Standard, CA 95373 I've been using CruzTools since 1999 when I needed a tear drop tool kit for my '99 Fatboy. When I bought my "05 Road King, one of the first items I purchased was the EconoKit-H1 from CruzTools. Funny thing is that I've never really needed the tools for myself. They have always been a kind extra insurance for those times I'm tens or hundreds of miles from anything. However, some of my friends are always using them. They make a great gift for a friend in need. Ironspirit highly recommends them. Great quality!

Dave Mackie Engineering, 2065-H Sperry Ave. - Ventura, CA. Dave piloted Harley drag bikes in the 70's & 80's and won many championships. He took his knowledge and developed what most of us call the "Mackie MegaSphere". Others as well as myself have had the magic of Dave Mackie done to our "Baggers" and they haul ass!

Doug's Custom Paint, 10149 Canoga Ave - Chatsworth, CA. Doug's reputation is well known and we have seen numerous projects exit his shop. He is very BIG on quality and takes it seriously. However, he also has a relaxed side and makes you feel at ease when going over your personal project. If he can't do it, he has no problem recommending someone who can.

Mustang Motorcycle Products, Inc., 278 Town Hill Rd. - Terryville, CT 06786 I love Mustang seats. I have had several seats for my Harley Fatboy and Harley Road King and have put on more than 24,000 miles on them. My rear-end is very thankful for the craftsmanship of the people at this company. Ironspirit endorses Mustang seats.
My Garage, 1559 Palma Dr. - Ventura, CA. This shop has a loyal following. Many of their customers have had Brian, (the owner), install a "Dave Mackie MegaSphere". His shop is definitely an expert on it. They run the Dyno on Saturdays only.

Saddlemen Motorcycle Seats, 17801 S. Susana Rd. - Rancho Dominguez, CA. I’ve replaced the stock Harley seats with a variety of aftermarket seats. In all fairness to the Harley factory, I have not used their replacement seats. I can, however, tell you that I have logged 16 hrs+ in my Saddlemen gel seat and could keep going with no problem. They are great seats!

http://www.lasvegasbikefest.com
Set in early October, the Las Vegas Bikefest is one of the best motorcycle events in the western states. It certainly doesn't hurt that "Sin City" is the location for this fun weekend. The entertainment is packed with $100,000 Poker Run (yes.... $100,000), Poker Walk (seriously) and a number of contests; Artistry in Iron Master Builders Championship, Custom Bike Show, Bikini Contest, Miss Las Vegas Bikefest, Mr. Las Vegas Bikefest and the Worlds Strongest Biker. There is also live concerts and of course the always popular Vendor Village where you'll find all types of accessories to customize your ride. I remember a few guys returning to our booth after 20 minutes and informing me that they had already installed their Ironspirit backrest plate in the parking lot and showed their friends who were coming by to pick up an Ironspirit plate for their ride. That was great! I've had that happen at several shows.

This site has an eclectic collection of news articles for all of us who ride. The great thing I noticed, is that they include news that applies to all road riders.

http://www.bikernet.com
Keith Ball, otherwise known as "Bandit", is something of a living legend in the world of motorcycling and runs this awesome site. Bikernet.com is not only resourceful, it's entertaining. Filled with so much news, info and entertainment; you could sit quietly with a glass of Jack Daniels while you scroll down one Bikernet page after another. Nope... he's not paying me to write this. It's just that I remember reading Easyriders over the last 3 decades and have seen his moniker "Bandit" in the various departments of that publication and many others. The "Cantina" section is where you will get the "added bonus" of this site. Of course nothing is free. But the cost of that section is very minimal and you'll get value for your buck.

I've personally shopped for items at J&P Cycles to personalize my '99 Fatboy and '05 Road King. J&P Cycles provide the kind of customer service most of us have forgotten about. It's the same kind of service you've heard about almost as an urban legend, but rarely experience. Ironspirit tries to emulate J&P Cycle’s superior service. If we do half as well as they do, we will end up providing our customers with great service. J&P Cycles have a great variety of quality products to choose from. Do yourself a favor and check them out.

This is a very cool site that lists California rides. They provide a loose review for each ride along with photos to give you an idea of what you can expect to see while leaning into the twisties. The photos alone will motivate you to choose a remote California road.
